Site Super  - NYC experience required; Duties include working with Project Manager regarding overall coordination, i.e. construction drawings, Elevations, Shop Drawing review, with implementation, opening site ontime, understanding what each subcontractor needs to be doing, discuss planned work for the day with each sub’s foreman and review work progress at the end of each day, as well as site record keeping:
Skills/Specialized Knowledge

  • Diligent record keeping
  • Ability to read architectural drawings, shop drawings and details.
  • Ability to lay out a raw space from drawings.
  • Ability to manage a construction crew
  • Computer literate, especially in Excel, Timberline, and E-Mail
  • Minimum 10hr OSHA Safety course
  • Experience as a field supervisor

 

Project Manager – MBI Group NY is currently seeking qualified candidates for Project Manager based in their NYC office.  The Project Manager will manage and control assigned projects, including overseeing field operations, site safety, productivity, schedule, quality work, and trade contractor and supplier coordination and work in leading the project team.  Bachelor’s or Associates Degree preferred; Construction Management coursework a plus.  Requirements include:

  • Minimum 8 years of construction management experience
  • Excellent communication skills are extremely important in this position
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage, delegate and mentor
  • Must have strong technical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Timberline and Outlook are a must
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, logical thinking, strong problem solving skills, good math skills, a level-headed demeanor and ability to work well with clients and the overall team is very important

 

Project Analyst –  MBI Group NY is currently looking for a Project Analyst.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Reporting and Analysis
  • Entering Commitments
  • Subcontractor Compliance - AIA Contracts, Insurance Certificates
  • Very strong Timberline experience
  • Help generate job cost reports, project progress and performance analysis

Must be proficient in Timberline!

 

Chief Estimator – MBI Group NY is seeking a Chief Estimator.  Must have NYC Experience as well as Commercial Interiors Experience.  This position will oversee 3 Estimators as well as handle high profile bids.   Candidate Must have Timberline experience.

 

Assistant Project Manager –  Assist Project Managers in the planning and coordination of MBI Group NY projects.  The general responsibility of this position is to assist Project Managers in the planning and coordination of the company’s construction activities.   We are looking for an individual with a few years’ of experience in the construction industry and preferably a bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture or engineering.
